Your analytical thinking.
A new source of value.
Explore the potential in the methods, models and research knowledge your business owns.
The work you know.
A new source of value.
Owned research workflows and analytical methods could support AI development or evaluation. Their fit depends on buyer requirements and the rights to underlying data and research.
How it worksThe knowledge
behind the work.
A few examples to explore.
Model methodology
Owned modelling frameworks and assumptions explaining how an analysis is built.
Research workflows
Internal research methods connecting a question, source review and conclusion.
Decision histories
Permitted forecasting and review examples showing how a judgement is reached.
Ownership extends to the inputs.
Vendor feeds, paywalled research, client mandates and confidential or restricted market information need separate consideration. Owning a spreadsheet does not automatically grant redistribution rights to every input in it.
Your questions.
Answered.
Can models built using licensed market data be included?
Only if the relevant data terms and other restrictions permit the proposed use. An enquiry can describe the methodology without submitting the model or its underlying data.
Are forecasts enough on their own?
It depends on the buyer’s requirements. Assumptions, research steps and review histories may provide useful context alongside the final output.
Would licensing mean selling our intellectual property?
A licence sets out permitted uses; it is not automatically a transfer of ownership. The exact rights, duration and any exclusivity need to be agreed.
Can individual analysts participate?
Only in relation to material they are authorised to offer. Employment terms, client agreements and third-party licences may limit what an individual can share.
