Business outreach
If you receive a letter from us, we found your business contact details in public sources, such as your company website, Companies House, your company’s LinkedIn profile or published business coverage. We record names, job titles, company details, business postal addresses and relevant work contact details, together with the sources we used and our correspondence.
We use these details to identify businesses that may be interested in licensing their data, send relevant postal introductions and manage responses. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in developing our business and connecting companies with potential licensing opportunities. We consider the relevance of the approach, your business role and the impact on your privacy.
You can object to direct marketing at any time, free of charge. Email elia@kreydlabs.com or write to Kreyd Labs Ltd, 133 Whitmore Road, Harrow, HA1 4AG. You can also tell us by phone or in a reply. You do not need to give a reason. We will stop using your details for direct marketing and keep only the information needed to record and respect your request.
We use IT and administrative service providers to help manage our research and correspondence. If we use a printing and postage provider, we share the recipient’s name, company, postal address and letter content so it can produce and deliver the letter. We do not sell our prospect list or automatically pass it to data buyers.
We keep prospect research for up to 12 months from collection unless an active discussion continues or we need particular records to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We keep a minimal do-not-contact record for as long as needed to honour an objection. This outreach retention policy is separate from the enquiry retention periods below.
We select companies using business factors such as their sector and product history. We do not make decisions about individuals with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing. You are not required to respond to an approach or provide any information.
Your enquiries
Our seller enquiry has three short steps and our buyer enquiry has two. The first step saves your work email and company details and requests follow-up even if you do not finish. Your answers save when you continue from each step. Seller enquiries ask about broad record types and your relationship to the company; team size, record history, language and additional context are optional. Buyer enquiries ask what data you need, with an optional website. Finishing records your final submission. Older assessment submissions and unfinished answers remain saved under the retention periods below.
What happens next
We use your answers to respond and identify a possible introduction. The selected provider carries out any assessment of the underlying records and licensing rights. Submitting a form does not grant a data licence or connect to your company’s software. We do not automatically send your assessment to data buyers.
Introductions and sharing
We do not automatically forward your assessment to a data partner or buyer. If you ask us to arrange an introduction, we explain who will receive your information and confirm the contact details or business summary to be shared before sending it. We may receive a referral fee if the introduction leads to a deal; see our introductions and terms.
Depending on the provider, an owner or authorised representative may need to complete a separate form or use a referral link. We identify that organisation and provide its relevant privacy information before you submit details directly to it. That organisation handles the information you provide under its own notice and terms. Completing a Kreyd form does not complete another provider’s process.
Why we use your information
Kreyd Labs Ltd is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at elia@kreydlabs.com or at our registered office below. We use it to answer your questions, assess potential introductions and manage the follow-up you request. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and arranging requested introductions. You can ask us to stop follow-up at any time.
We also use information where needed to meet a legal obligation. If we ask for consent for a separate use, we explain that use when we ask and you can withdraw that consent.
Storage and providers
Vercel hosts this website, Convex stores enquiries, and Resend delivers enquiry notifications to our inbox. These providers process the information needed to deliver those services. A private browser cookie lets the site restore your own enquiry for 30 days; it is not available to page scripts.
Anonymous assessment drafts expire after 30 days. Contactable unfinished enquiries expire after 90 days. Completed enquiries expire after one year. Starting again preserves the earlier enquiry until its retention period ends.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits and page views, including referral sources, approximate location and browser and device types. It does not use analytics cookies. We remove query parameters and URL fragments before sending page views. Enquiry answers, contact details and booking form contents are not sent as analytics events. See Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy information for how it processes this information.
Booking a call
To open the calendar faster, Calendly may begin loading in the background after the page finishes loading, or when you hover over, focus or press a booking button. It also loads when you open booking. Submitting a short enquiry does not open the calendar; booking is optional. It collects the booking details you enter and handles scheduling, confirmation, cancellation and rescheduling. When you book, Calendly creates the appointment on Kreyd’s connected calendar. If you have completed an assessment, your email may be prefilled. Choosing a day or time does not book a call.
See Calendly’s privacy notice for its handling of booking details and cookies.
Your rights and concerns
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to its use. Contact elia@kreydlabs.com. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
